Where would we be without them!
CODE OF CONDUCT.
Please - If you want to party, don't come here

There are heaps of places in Auckland where you can go get as drunk as you like, be as loud as you like, stay up as late as you like and thrash the music loud.

This is not one of those places.

Instead, maybe stay in the city and go to a bar. You will have a much better time.

We are a safe space for all, a family oriented camp.

The only thing that should be heard in the camp after 10.30pm is the sound of the waves, the wind in the trees, Ruru (native owl) calling, a bit of snoring and maybe a baby.

If you can't live without music, please be mindful of the volume and language. That goes for your language too. All music / devices need to be turned off at 10.30pm or use headphones.
If you're going to smoke anything, please go outside the camp amd take a receptacle for the butts!

If you are determined to engage in anti-social behaviour and or excess drinking, expect to be told to leave.

Teenagers must be accompanied by 1 parent per 5 teens. Those parents must undertake to camp next to their young folk, remain sober and actively supervise throughout the stay.

Make sure your site is kept tidy and free of trash. Bins and recycling are behind the kitchen block. Rubbish bags are available at the office.

Fridge / freezer - anything not named or missing a date of departure will be thrown out or given away on a Tuesday morning.

If you make a mess in the kitchen during the passion of cooking, please wipe it up, leave it as clean as you would like to find it.

Please keep vehicle movement in the camp to a minimum and go no faster than a walking pace. There are often many children about.

DOGS

Dogs are welcome with our permission. We are one of the few camps still taking dogs. We love them but not all people do, some are very scared of them. Your hound must always be on a lead, no exceptions. If we are made aware that your dog is being left off a leash you will be asked to leave. Pick up the poops, make sure they've got fresh water and shade, and if they are going to cry while you're at the beach, leave somebody with them. Any dog rushing out at people or other dogs or barking excessively is not suitable for the campground. Get a dog sitter or send them on their own holiday to the kennels.
